We are excited to announce that we raised $9,110 from our Second Annual Ellie’s Hats Charity Softball Tournament in which we had 11 teams participate. More than double the number of teams we had last year.
As part of the weekend activities there was a Home Run Derby where players got pledges for home runs they hit. Kat Moody, with the MARA Mustangs 14U Wells team, was the pledge winner. She collected $600!!
The top fundraising team was the MARA Mustangs 14U Wells with $1,727
We want to again THANK YOU all those that took part in making this such a great event. We are speaking with local children’s hospitals to see how we can use the funds raised to have the greatest impact for children, and their families, affected by cancer! I want to thank Robin Dam Viar for all she has done and continues to do for Ellie’s Hats, especially, in North Carolina. #morethanjustahat
