Abby’s collection of hats
She collected over 20 at her birthday party as well as just over $100.  We went on a hat  shopping spree today and came home and laid them all out – a total of 49! This was a great  experience for Abby, who turned 6 a week ago (6/5).  Today she told every cashier what  the money was from and who the hats were for.  She said she felt good and proud.  I think  WE (her parents) are the proud ones.

Update: Abby’s mother asked the local baseball league if they had any hats and they gave Abby 90 more hats. Grand Total 143.
