I attended the Pediatric Oncology Parent Night last night at the Life with Cancer Center. It was an opportunity for ,families that have a child with cancer, to learn from the different groups that provide resources for them.
Listening to what these groups do for these families I was amazed at how passionate they are about helping .. One thing that I did take away from listening to all of the presenters is that in order to help these families, regardless of your cause, you need to raise money. That is something that we, Ellie’s Hats, needs to begin doing so that we can accomplish our mission of providing hats and clothes to the families.
