A while back Keren and Keily’s mother asked me if I knew of someone who could install a bathroom on their main level. Keren was about to have rotationplasty surgery on her leg and it would be difficult for her to go up and downstairs. I put a post up on this page and within a few minutes Nick, the owner of NRC Landscape Construction, offered to do the job! I then asked my friend, Lucia, from Manor Works Painting, if her company could paint the bathroom once NRC was finished. Not only did she agree to do that, she also offered to paint the family room, the girl’s rooms, and even decorate them. The bathroom and all of the painting was finished last week.
One final part of this story is that Lucia wanted to do something for the girl’s older sister who has been such a wonderful sister while Keren and Keily have been going through their treatments. Lucia made arrangements with Jennifer, the owner of Salon Khouri for Janet could come in for a haircut. Such an amazing story of so many people working together to help a family that is going through so much.
