We decided to support Ellie’s Hats because of the incredible way that this organization brings a smile to children’s faces. Ellie’s Hats works directly with children with cancer and their families. To be able to help bring a moment of joy to a child that has had a very rough week, month, or year, with that special box full of goodies is amazing. To be able to deliver a check that will help a family for the next month afford the extreme costs and sacrifices that are associated with their child’s treatment is incredible. Jay’s passion for what he does is contagious and we instantly wanted to help in any way we could as soon as we learned about Ellie’s Hats.
We started supporting Ellie’s Hats in 2016. We began by just being a sponsor and doing a hat drive in our first year, but from 2017 – 2019 have hosted an annual car show and Springfest where 100% of the proceeds go directly to Ellie’s Hats and have raised $18,000 in those three years.
We will continue to support Ellie’s Hats as much and in any way we can and encourage our customers and community to do the same.
