We love to hear about young people, like Troy, who are thinking about others. From Troy’s mom “Troy has chosen the past few years to forego birthday gifts and ask for donations for charity. This year, he chose Ellie’s Hats for his charity.  He feels very strongly about organizations that raise money or provide support to people with cancer because he has lost both grandfathers to this disease. He decided to support Ellie’s Hats this year because his brother’s school did a hat drive last year in honor of a classmate who had been diagnosed with cancer and he thought that it was a great idea and would help children feel better.”
